DESIGN
GRAPHIC, BRANDING, WEB
The E-Club Design Team establishes the branding guidelines and visual identity for E-Club and its subteams, while additionally offering design services to groups outside of E-Club, including student-led startups and organizations. The Design Team also runs Princeton’s annual student design competition.
Design Team aims to create a welcoming and creative space on campus for students of all experiences who are interested in design, whether you are a seasoned designer looking to build your portfolio or a beginner learning how to use the Adobe Creative Suite.

Hellen Luo '28
I am a sophomore from New York City studying Computer Science. I joined the Design Team because I am passionate about the intersection of design and technology. I am always excited about opportunities to explore how creativity and technical problem-solving can work together. I enjoy experimenting with new design tools, though Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma have consistently been my trusted go-to platforms so far. As the Design Co-Director this year, I want to expand the team's technical design skills and bring new creative ideas to life.

I’m a sophomore from Portland, Oregon, planning to major in Molecular Biology. While my involvement in Design is outside the conventional scope for my major, I developed an interest in design through past experiences in high school merchandise design involvements, including social media management, product design, and branding. I’m especially drawn to logistics-focused design—developing entirely new structures (workflows, layouts, product concepts, etc.) and offering insights on how to innovate existing ones—which ultimately led me to join the E-Club Design Team. As one of your Design directors this year, I am hoping to lead the team in a broader design direction as well as incorporating more entrepreneurial opportunities.

what we do
year-round design services
DESIGN&IMPACT
As a collective team, we provide design services across campus to E-Club subteams, student organizations/clubs, and partnering startups. This includes print materials, graphics, logos, web design, and more. Some examples of projects we have worked on include the design of Tech Trailblazers’ brand identity, logos for TigerTables and Profiles in Entrepreneurship, design challenges for the non-profit Feeding the Frontlines, and HackPrinceton's Spring 2020 Hackathon branding.
Design Team hosts Design&Impact, Princeton’s annual student design competition that connects student designers with local nonprofits and leading design firms to foster social impact through design. Winners collaborate directly with nonprofits following the competition. The competition involves design categories like social media, branding, web design, product design, and more.
Past partnering nonprofits include:
Sustainable Jersey
Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation
Groundwork Bridgeport
Mental Health Association in New Jersey
